Connectivity

Production connectivity uses secured point-to-point connections — Stunnels or Cross Connects. Transport-layer encryption and authentication are handled at the connection level, so no FIX-level security features are used.

Production connects to connect.openyld.com; test environments connect to contest.openyld.com. Additional hostnames may be added as infrastructure scales. Ports are assigned per connection during onboarding.

OpenYield operates as the Stunnel server. Clients initiate connections to it. TLS certificates are distributed annually each April.

Test environments are accessible over the internet. Production connections require IP whitelisting; IP addresses are collected during onboarding.
